Swim Team

Stingrays are swimmers of the ocean and the Swim Reedsburg Sting Rays are students who like to swim fast while having fun. The goal of competitive swimming is to be the fastest to swim a given distance. The goal of the Swim Reedsburg Sting Rays is to become champions with Championship behavior. Swim Reedsburg offers a team opportunity and aims to be a club that strives to improve the health and well-being of our swimmers in a friendly, professional, and safe atmosphere.

Swim Team focuses on the four racing strokes (free, back, breast, and fly), starts and turns, and stroke proficiency and technique. Participants must be able to swim 25 yards with out stopping (Level 3 or higher).

The Swim Reedsburg bus will pick up participants who are in need of a ride at the Webb Middle School each day after school. However, there is limited seating on the bus so contact Swim Reedsburg ASAP (608-524-4555) if you are interested in taking advantage of this service.

The Swim Reedsburg Sting Rays is made up of two teams: the Home Team and the Elite Team.

Elite Team

The Elite Team is for those swimmers who are serious about competition swimming and have the extra commitment and intensity. The Elite Team competes in USA Swimming sanctioned meets throughout the state.
