Swim Lessons

The following topics are the core of the program:

*Options for swim lessons include lessons during the day or an after school/evening program. We work with a number of daycare providers and preschools to give lessons during the day through their facility.

Skills learned by participating in Swim Reedsburg's Learn-to-Swim Program are:

• Underwater Swimming

• Buoyancy

• Changing Direction/Position

• Treading Water

• Swimming on Front, Back, and Side

• General/Personal Water Safety

• Helping Others

*By teaching children the basics of water safety and utilizing Swim Reedsburg's Learn-to-Swim Program, your child will not only be getting a life-saving education, but they will enjoy it as well!

Private Swim Lessons

These give you or your child specialized one-on-one training. Students of any level can register for private lessons. Some lesson sessions will be offered within the evening lesson schedule. Other sessions we can work around your schedule to find a time that works for you. For every private lesson you attend, you will have the opportunity to come in during the week following your lesson to practice your skills learned. Specialty Swim Lessons

Specialty lesson classes are not held every session and may vary. Swimmers must have PASSED Level Green (or Level 3 with the American Red Cross) in order to register for a specialty lesson class. Time will be spent on technique and endurance swimming as well as focusing on the specialty.

AQUANOTS

Meet your boy or girl scout swimming requirements with Aquanots!

BOATING SAFETY

Learn about paddling, balance and stabilization of water craft, how to exit and enter the water craft safely.

BUBBLES

This class is for those swimmers who are interested in swim team, but may not quite be ready. Max of 16 students.

CLOTHES

Students will learn how to swim if they fall into a body of water with their clothes on. They will also learn how to use their floating devices as well as other safety tips.

POOL TIME FUN

A Phy Ed style course that will focus on a specific water activity every 2 lessons. Examples of water activities: Water Polo, Brick Hockey...participants will also learn about fitness and how to fill out a fitness log. The class will conclude with an Olympic Challenge.

MASK, FINS & SNORKEL

Learn to use a mask, fins, and snorkel and explore the depths of the pool.

SYCHRONIZED SWIMMING

A combination of swimming, dance and gymnastics. Must have passed Level GREEN to participate. Max. of 16 students.

Lesson Cancellation Policy

Your enrollment can be cancelled 24 hours prior to the start of your session. No cancellation fee will be charged to you. You will receive your full tuition back in the form of a credit to your Family Account.

If you cancel your enrollment within 24 hours of start of your session: you will be charged a cancellation fee in the amount of one lesson and you will receive your remaining tuition back in the form of a credit to your Family Account.

If you cancel your enrollment after the start of your session: you will be charged for any lessons which have occurred (regardless of attendance), a cancellation fee in the amount of one lesson, and you will receive your remaining tuition back in the form of a credit to your Family Account.

We reserve the right to cancel any classes with one swimmer. We will offer other day and time option(s) for your swimmer.
